CORPORATE WORKSHOPS
Does everyone in your organization have a clear pathway for career growth and mentorship?
You’ve read the statistics about women leaving the workforce during the pandemic - and you’ve experienced them first hand, in your own company.
A job is never just about the job. The way we relate to our work matters. For many women, having a designated space to connect with their colleagues around meaningful issues can be the difference between feeling invisible and feeling valued.
You know that your industry is tough for women, so you’re actively looking for ways to attract and retain the top talent you’ve recruited.
Did you know that 70% of women don’t think their employers provide enough resources and support to help them advance in their careers?
Let’s start there.
Your organization says it values growth. When was the last time you provided training that engaged, inspired, and energized your team?
The Center for Women’s Voice specializes in creating high impact educational experiences for women at the intersection of professional development and personal growth.
“Malika is a true thought partner. She takes the time to understand what is needed, asks the best questions, and engages with her audience in a high impact, memorable way!”
- Lisa Mikkleson, Head of Global Human Capital

EXECUTIVE COACHING
Do you dread sharing your ideas at work because you don't believe they'll really be heard?
Are you constantly trying to prove yourself in an old boys network? Do you stop yourself from asking questions because you don't want to come across as unintelligent? Have you lowered your standards because you'd rather not raise conflict or make waves?
What if you weren’t diminished by the fear of what other people think or inhibited by your own perfectionism? What if you really could just get out of your head and be yourself? Imagine how your career would be different if you truly believed in the power of your own voice.
If you are ready to start trusting yourself, you’re in the right place.
Do you feel frustrated by the lack of mentorship and feedback you receive in your work?
Are you craving focused attention and strategic support about the next best step to grow professionally?
Do you wish you had the time to get some big picture perspective on your career and move forward with more purpose and intention?
The person you’re looking for is YOU.
And I want to help you connect to her.
No one will ever be more invested in your growth than you are. And that’s not a bad thing.
You are the expert on your voice. Your own values, sense of expression, and convictions can guide you about how to communicate and advocate for yourself in any situation. I want to help you understand this in the deepest part of your being, and actually live it out in every aspect of your career.
What does executive coaching look like?
Assess, Discern, Shift, Repeat.
Every client's journey is different, but the foundation of my process remains the same. I am committed to creating space for deep introspection and then transforming that inner work into tangible, external results.
-
Our work together begins by looking at your current thoughts and actions. Do they support your goals? Are they aligned with your values? If not, we need to address those first.
-
Then, we move through a series of exercises to identify your unique strengths and unlock a deeper sense of purpose you can tap into every day.
-
Next, we vision and hone in on whatever it is that you want to create. What impact do you want to have in your workplace? In your field? What legacy will you build with her leadership? This is where the coaching work ignites personal transformation.
-
Driven by your position and desired growth, I’ll introduce tools and frameworks to support progress beyond the coaching engagement. I help you make the "inner work" tangible and concrete to leverage momentum.
-
Finally, we'll explore habits and routines you can use on a daily basis to sustain your energy and avoid burnout. No matter what's going on around you, you will be able to take care of yourself and keep moving forward in your career.
FAQs
-
Hour long sessions take place over zoom. I meet with clients twice per month and offer unlimited support through email and Voxer in between sessions.
-
The work I do with clients is deep and transformational, and requires time and space to develop. My favorite way to serve women is by working together privately for three to six months, meeting every other week.. I’m aware that different people have different needs and parameters around their time. Some clients choose to commit to a longer engagement, while others prefer to work month to month.
The minimum time commitment for private coaching is three months.
-
The Discovery Session is an opportunity for us to speak in real time and to determine whether or not working together makes sense for you. This conversation provides a space for you to reflect on where you are in your career right now and what you’re looking for. There is no fee for the Discovery Session. If it feels like we’d be a good fit, we’ll discuss specifics about working together including the investment and timeline.
-
Yes. The Center for Women’s Voice can accept payments directly from your employer, or you may choose to have the costs reimbursed. We can work with you to provide whatever documentation is necessary.
First, let’s get on a call to see if we’d be a good fit working together.
I’m not sure if my company would pay for coaching, but I’d like to find out. What steps should I take?
First, let’s connect to see if one-on-one coaching is the next best step for you. If it is, advocating for yourself starts here.
Talk to your Human Resources representative to learn about your company’s professional development options. Often the employee handbook will outline what’s available.
Even if your employer doesn’t have any formal programs, they still may be open to supporting you. Look at your organization’s mission statement and values. Is there a commitment to fostering a culture of growth? If so, how are they making good on that promise? Presenting your manager or HR rep with a specific opportunity could be a concrete way to further the organization’s overall goals.
RITUAL: Release + Renew
Where do you find the time to check in with yourself?
You’ve got a lot on your plate.
You’re connected, you’ve got goals, you’ve got a demanding career. People count on you for things - and you’re not mad at that. But it’s a lot.
You’re happy to show up and give (that’s what it means to have a full and fulfilling life, right?)...but it’s a lot.
In all of the fullness, it can feel like there’s not much space for...you.
Your thoughts, your feelings, your desires, your ups, your downs.
When the opportunity for stillness arises - it can feel fleeting. Like a tease. Is there really enough time? You might even hear yourself say something like I better not indulge, there’s too much to do OR If I slow down, I’ll never be able to get moving again and I don’t want to risk that.
Slow down.
Indulge.
Go there.
You’re worth it.
The Things and The Stuff will still be there later.
RITUAL: Release + Renew is a time just for you.
A time to retreat, to go inward, and to tap into some of that energy you’ve been giving everyone else.
Join us, as we practice taking space for ourselves. There will be guidance and prompts to support you along the way.
